About the currency converter
Our currency converter helps you estimate values across currencies using daily exchange rate data. It is useful for planning, travel budgeting, checking online prices, and comparing what you receive when you earn or pay in a different currency.
The converter displays both the currency code and the currency name (for example, NGN — Nigerian Naira) to make selection easier. It also includes a “Today’s exchange rates” panel that refreshes automatically and can be refreshed manually.
The rates shown on this site are for estimates. Banks, payment processors, and transfer apps may use different rates because of fees, spreads, or additional charges. If you are making a transfer, confirm the final rate on the platform you plan to use.
Where the exchange rate data comes from
We use ExchangeRate-API (Open Access) to load daily rate data. This helps keep the converter simple and consistent. You can see the provider attribution on the converter page.
Ads and how we support the site
This website may display ads to support hosting and ongoing improvements. We aim to keep ads reasonable so the tool remains easy to use. We do not ask you to create an account just to use the converter.
